Delete your Setout Pro account

Use the in-app deletion flow when you can. If you have uninstalled Setout Pro or cannot open the app, you can start the same request by email from this page.

Delete in the app

Open Setout Pro, go to Account and choose Delete account. Review what will happen to each organisation, then follow the permanent-deletion confirmation.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address used for your Setout Pro account if possible. Include that account email and your organisation name, but never send your password, payment details or customer job information.

Before you delete

Download an account export in the app first if you need a copy of your exportable account and project information. If you cannot use the app and need a copy, say so in your email before asking us to complete deletion.

We may need to confirm that you control the account and resolve organisation ownership before deletion can proceed. Uninstalling Setout Pro by itself does not delete your account or its information.

What is deleted and what remains

Account deletion removes your sign-in access and organisation memberships. If other members remain in an organisation, its projects, customer records and internal payment notes remain available to those members.

If deletion closes an organisation because you are its only member, its live projects, plans, photographs, customer records and internal notes are erased. A separate legal archive can retain accepted quote terms, approvals, acceptance name and email, customer and site details recorded in that evidence, issued invoice and credit-note details, and payment and provider-reconciliation records. Internal payment notes are not copied into that archive.

Under the current service schedule, the archive is retained for six years from the most recent retained contract or financial event and is then queued for deletion. See the full details in our privacy policy.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your Setout Pro account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop future billing, cancel the subscription separately in your Apple or Google store settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel it either.
